March 31 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on 1Kings 11-13 Key Verse –1Kings 11:23 And God stirred him up… LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY SOUL-STIRRER Lord God, You are my soul-Stirrer, turning my heart toward sincere devotion Thank You for smiting my carnality of fleshly ambition Please forgive me since I made You angry with my sin-caused perversion In going after other gods against Your direction. Lord God, You are my soul-Stirrer, taking away my fright inflicted by evil adversary Thank You for pointing my way toward Your victory Please forgive me since I doubted You with my mischief’s misery In neglecting to trust Your might and valour’s glory. Lord God, You are my soul-Stirrer, testing my dedication with Your judgment Thank You for upholding my conviction by Your wisdom-settlement Please forgive me since I forsook You with my discontentment In running against Your plan, ruining my heavenly commitment. Lord God, You are my soul-Stirrer, training my tongue to speak good words Thank You for answering my prayers by faith against unbelief-swords Please forgive me since I displeased You with my hypocrisy records In hiding inside deceit that earns Your discipline boards. Lord God, You are my soul-Stirrer, teaching my spirit to show genuine sacrifice Thank You for checking my motives toward sincere prayer cries Please forgive me since I brought to You oblation with empty price In offering to You upon altar of selfishness-vice. Lord God, You are my soul-Stirrer, toppling my pride of vain height Thank You for enabling my transformation against defective blight Please forgive me since I pulled myself to soar with arrogant flight In pursuing toward stardom pushed by worldly delight. Lord God, You are my soul-Stirrer, tracking my steps by Your deliverance Thank You for consecrating my life to Your ministry’s guidance Please forgive me since I stood with my perilous arrogance In mourning over my temporal loss of no significance.
