Poem

Strip away all your insecurities
What will you find
Naked to a world so unforgiving
There you are vulnerable and scared
Inside your own head
Confused in a strange filmar place
Present is a mirror into your own self worth
Is the reflection there what you see or is it make believe
Do you lead with your heart
I cant tell you how hard it is to see my reflection
There is no light 
There is no goal
There is no happiness
My life seams to portray perfection in an american standard
One boy one girl and loving wife
Not at all the true concept
It seems to be the opposite 
You see my reflection is make believe
Its built apon beaten paths 
Tortured souls and random escapes
47 years wasted time
Because i have never like myself
Never saw anything but failure in myself
Blamed it on all others
Never answered to myself the origins of this pain
Still to this day i hate the mirror on the wall
Addictions and demands of myself have stained my
Perfect picture of what a man is suppose to be
No tears no closure no cure
You see as i try to lead with this heart
The mind sees what has always been hate for thee
No explanation and no cause.
I am not a bad person but i am bad at figuring out who i am.
So i say figure out the reflection before you break that mirror.
