Poem
daytime begins doesnt mean the nightmare ends.elvis lives doesnt mean he's at home. walking around like a dead man walking, breathing through a tube. hands cold and brittle hair falling out in patches. a once handsome youg man turned into a shell of a human, being critiqued every moment he appears in the streets. searching for love on a dead end road his only sign of hope reads"only men allowed." in ther no one judges him in there no one cares all they wnat is one thing that he has to spare. a hundred here two hundred ther girls in g-string underwear. he places his hope on a cherry bomb as long as he keeps it coming the longer it'll go on. for that time he's ther he has no fears he's fullfilling his hopes of being wanted. lights burn low but never fade in this place of suttle shade,he never has to be ashamed. when the night turns to morning and its time to go little does he know he's not alone. as he walks to the car and turns the key from behind he's attacked his assaliant he can't see. in slow motion he surrenders without a fight crying to his attacker"let me live another night." all he wanted was his money and that he had leaving the old man in terror and longing fear. they came to his rescue a little too late funny to think all the man wanted was a lovely dinner date.never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
