Poem
A married man inside a hospital suite is in comatose after a car accident. He is being attended by his wife and daughter. After two weeks of darkness in his sight, a beam of light shone on his face. He was greeted by his wife and daughter, but he can hardly hear what they are saying to him. After a few seconds, the entire place blacked out. Moments later, everything around him appears so clear, but his wife and daughter are not inside the hospital suite anymore. Still lying on bed, the man noticed two human images standing in front of him, at the foot of his bed -- a dark one and a white one. He asked the two strangers, "Where's my wife and my daughter? They are here earlier..." The dark one, a dark angel said, "Your wife and your daughter are gone." The man insisted, "I want to see my family!" The white one, a white angel said, "Sorry, your family is gone. They died earlier in a car crash. You were the one driving, remember?!" "It cannot be. They were here earlier, attending to me. In fact, they were talking to me, but I can't hear their words." The dark angel said, "You too are already dead! You are a sinner. A man of conceit. A lazy man." "Who are you?" asked the man. "I am the angel of darkness. You belong to me!" "Who are you to judge me?" refuted the man. "You are an atheist. You don't care about anything except money and yourself. You don't care about others... only of your wife and daughter." The white angel said, "You have a choice to make. You can accept God as your savior... I can help you!" "I am just dreaming!" the man shouted. The dark angel showed the man his own lighter that he uses when lighting a cigarette. Challenged the man to put his palm over the litted lighter to prove that the man has no sensation anymore. The man acceded and felt no heat on his palm. He cried, realizing his current situation. "Your pride cannot save you. Not even the money and all the assets you inherited from your parents," whispered the black angel. "But if you want to keep your life, I will give it to you right now. Just worship me!" "Can you?" asked the man. "Yes," the dark angel replied. "But you need to sell your soul. I can give you more... your wife and your daughter. But promise me that I will be your master!" The white angel inserted, "You don't have to sell your soul. I cannot bring back to life your lost wife and daughter and not even you, but eternal peace in all your souls I can pray for. If you believe there is God and accept Him as your savior, you and your family can live forever!" The dark angel argued, "Don't listen to that white clown!..." Both the dark angel and the white angel instantly disappeared before the man as people entered the suite, taking the dead man's body. The man realized he is already dead. He admitted to himself he is an atheist. And now he doesn't know where he is going... Easter is about the living and the dead The birth and rebirth of any person or any soul Any creed or religion can save you, if your faith deserves what you earned (Prosebite)
