Poem

My life is full of unrealistic dreams
Dreams that I know will never come true
Life at times falls apart at the seams
But there is really nothing I can do
There are dreams however that do come true
Some of them old and some of them new
I have dreams of a man who will love me 
And together forever we will be
All I want is for someone to love
Someone to fit me like a glove
Someone who will love me the same way
Someone who will love me every day
I have dreams of a lifetime mate
Sometimes I leave my life up to fate
My dreams have kept me going on
Without dreams my life would be gone
Dreams can be happy or they can be sad
They can be good or they can be bad
But whatever the case may be
My dreams are a reality that I see
I know that my dreams can come true
Because I had a dream of being with you
That is a dream I always want to last
A dream I don’t want to end too fast
Forever this dream will go on
Long after you or I may be gone
My dream however is that you’ll always be there
Be someone there who will always care
My dream has now come true
Because now I am together with you
I seem to have won a spot in your heart
And I now have a dream that we’ll never be apart
