I can go anywhere
With everyone's blessing
Except the dogs
He'd like me to stay home

All the places 
That were closed on Monday
Are open
But their lure is gone

Maybe tomorrow
I'll live a dream
Where I look at paintings
And smell coffee circa 1985-1988

I could plan it today
Preparation is most certainly
A thing
As is spontaneity

I'm not spontaneous
Or well prepared
I'm rash
And lucky (mostly)

And I just wrote a poem
I think is good (not this one)
So I'll waste a day
Checking if I'm right

I'll of course be furious later
Maybe later can empower me now
'Later today me, give me the power!'
Not quite She-Ra standard

I just looked left and right
As expected nothing was coming
But that's because I'm on the settee
With a dog on my knee

I'll report back with news
Faithful non She-Ra followers
I may let you down
But it's okay, because you didn't read this far :)
