Poem
At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, Titus 3:3?-?5 NIV Myself, I shout it I am guilty I was foolish and deceived This verse is a treasure To remind one of the deception That held one captive in chains Seeking worldly things to satisfy Before the savior appeared We were just giving laws for exterior Circumcising the exterior body Sacrificing animals not to cleanse Taking even the diseased animals Which were no good All used up about to die Just getting one prepared To give one an example of what was to come Even in these times after our savior appeared Myself fell victim of not knowing Christ I did not seek and none others seemed to really seek Indeed it's not of my own doing It's not that I loved Jesus at first But found out Jesus loved us Through calling out and seeking better Jesus has mercy for all that call out Do not let me boast of any good things In my own works but through Christ My friend my life was headed to death It's all through the washing of rebirth Flooding out the enemy within With His promised spirit to Purify one and circumcise the old self (within) He gave the ultimate sacrifice for us For He was without sin to save all sinners To create within a way to return to God For all go against the true God in own path But through the renewal of the Holy Spirit To dwell within to place a seal of approval Removing all the impure spirits of worldly lust To be transformed of the renewing of the mind With pure spirits of peace, love ,joy, forgiveness, Nonjudgmental, gentleness, self control, And humility and a love for all to seek In knowing they are but a moment away To receive the inheritance of the Holy Spirit This is the way to return back to God If we are still seeking our own path To live in the old covenant not of the spirit within We need more goat and bull farmers Not for food but for failed attempts of pleasing God then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Philippians 2:2 NIV
