Poem
English Translation: There are no longer lips that taste totally divine, or even a warm ray of sunshine that melts the coldest and saddest heart... I've tried to conquer! I walk and my steps are slow who looks at me does not know how many fragments of heartbreaks increase the pain of who bears old illusions, reducing him to another frightening river that drags him along with all its anger, and where I will go to recount lies: I will only meet grayer skies, and days lived with sadness! If my storm is unpredictable as tomorrow, I'll have no minimal strength and the silliest reason to fight it as a feeble and lonely sparrow... like the others that have already passed; it will beat and destroy me util I'll be dead... if I don't see that face I loved every pretty season with a tenderness deeper than anyone else: that's when true feelings become so tense! Oh, rain fall on body stronger than clay that doesn't feel the shivers of a frigid day, or is willing to listen to its pounding and boring rhythm... what kind of hope, in the scary unknown, will it give him? Capture me with a hug that comforts a sad lover, what's the point of clinging to an unforgivable regret... if it saddens and suffocates the breathless throat? Storm, go away and make the seagulls and eagles soar through the huge and beautiful skies that only belong to them: let's chase them and discover how precious is their freedom! If my storm is unpredictable as tomorrow, let it unleash its fury when I'm in a safe haven away from any possible threat: where serenity reigns, not being afraid of death and sweat... accepting fate, surrendering to darkness invoking my last wish!
