Strength is through conquering our deepest darkness and demons. Madoda Jack Thank you for your inspiration. Never forget your strength. Blessings, love and light. Strength By Michelle Morris 15/02/2023 Strength is through Conquering our darkness Conquering our demons Conquering our fears Strength is not acquired Easily or through comfort It is not pleasantly won It is not a pageant or gift It is the deep, hard and difficult Soul grinding efforts We make through the abyss Through the darkest of nights It is a blessing and a curse For the blessing can make us stronger and kinder The curse can make us harder and cynical We choose the outcome every time For strength requires courage To face our fears and have faith To face down our demons and win To face our darkness and shine through For strength requires hope That we are stronger than we realise That we have a future to fight for That we are capable of overcoming challenges For strength requires love Love for, and acceptance of, ourselves Love and respect for our family and friends Love and compassion for all life and freedom Strength is through Nurturing ourselves Healing ourselves Embracing our divinity Strength is acquired Through consistent effort By allowing our light to illuminate our souls By believing in the unseen powers of the Universe To believe takes strength and courage And strength is hard won belief Faith over fear; Light over Dark The power of Angels over Demons Strength is acquired through The good and bad It is up to us to choose how we use it And who we will become © Michelle Morris, 2023
