Euphoria is like a breathless smile, the laughter of a child, the kiss of a lover who remembers each hint of a feeling felt when you’re with him ~ by poet Just before dawn’s caress, There is a gentleness, a silence Feels like the earth has been blessed By the whisper, balancing Tenderness and trust, trembling Like the breathless race for shadows Dancing, silhouettes of moonlight Stars cascading beneath Falling dew, drizzling like teardrops Over the roses in the gardens Beautiful alive in the excitement so soon Cast aside as the past’s honesty Just before the morning light, There is a music, melody of hope Doubting the darkness, Holding onto the song, like praise Pouring over the seas, the trees, Waving laughter upon the heart, Wishing for wonders Beyond what can be heard In the rainfall, the snowflakes Coating the earth in brilliant hues Faithful and pure, Like euphoria, in lingering blue Sapphire and azure Piercing the promises with nimble Wistful, feathery feelings Riding the reflections of the sun Just before the caress of day There beyond the vista, mountains In emerald and hesitating With poetry driven by the echoes From falling snow, rain clouds Mesmerizing words abiding in the soul Who knows that these dreams, Peaceful and serene, awaken A need, a longing who believes With time, there comes The mountaintop experience,… Believing that is beyond even phenomenal It is mind-blowing, incredible Beautiful that expresses its blessings Through dazzling clusters of stardust Kissing the light and making alive The inspiration that comes to life inside Where the grace that abides Sings joy in June truths, using Only the guidance of a delicate rose Silencing the past with kindness That becomes the way for love To pour out from His spirit, above Where we know He carries the world On shoulders so strong they can hold up More than we can bring when we fall On knees, pleading for relief From the endless need – our humanity Brings when we are born into a world Of sin and shame, a world where Light is the answer to darkness And His love is the answer to fear The answer to the tear that stings Even the compassion He brings when He gives His ultimate gift, forgiveness In a world that is unforgiving, so very Needful of the Friend who is Jesus, The Prince of Peace, the King of Kings – The WAY to make it in a world of grief!
