Find the joy

When you're living under a cloud
Find the joy, find the joy
When you're hurt and want to cry
Find the joy, find the joy

When you want to scream out loud
Find the joy, find the joy
When you want to walk away from the crowd
Find the joy, find the joy

For like any other person
You deserve joy in your life
Love, kindness and compassion
Happiness and smiles

But, there are many moments
When we see grey skies instead of blue
We may have lost perspective
Or are sinking into an abyss so cruel

Your life path may seem treacherous
You may feel there are more foes than friends
You may have taken many wrong turns
And stumbled over the right decisions

But, if you step back and ponder
If you commune with your higher self
Your soul will shine its little light
And get brighter with God's help

For He and His angels
Are always there for you
But you need to ask for help
They won't take over your self rule

Each of us has free will
The choice to be ourselves
Whatever we believe in
We need to believe in ourselves as well

So, when you're living with regrets 
Find the joy, find the joy
When you're struggling with illness 
Find the joy, find the joy

When you want to give up the fight 
Find the joy, find the joy
When you want to walk away from your life 
Find the joy, find the joy

For like any other person
You deserve joy in your life
Love, kindness and compassion
Happiness and smiles

May you believe in that
May you believe in yourself
May you believe in God's power
May you believe in angelic help

For you are never alone
There are angel wings around you
Look up towards the heavens
And know this profound truth

Let your light shine strong and pure
Let your authentic self feel secure
Let your soul become a masterpiece
Let the Universe feel your allure
