You are a leader now

Your ancestors speak to me
They know your life story
They and God's angels
Are always available to you

Call out to them
Call out to them when you need help
Call out to them
They will never let you lose hope

You have travelled a long road
Dusty and with many thorns
You have healed the pain from
Ancestral harm and memories

So many difficult moments
You have overcome
You have stayed strong, dear one
You have become a warrior

Wear your crown well, my darling
Wear your crown well
You are a leader now
Wear your crown well

You are a leader now
Your clan will turn to you
The women need your warrior spirit
The men need your wisdom and truth

The children need your comfort
They need your proud example
Lead them well, my darling
And teach them the old ways

Never forget that 
We are all connected
Your ancestors' blood and bone
Is part of you in every way

The culture and the knowledge
Is there in your heart
It is carried from your soul
Where it resides in the Universe
