As you travel through the journey of life,
your camera brain is snapping shots,
of sights and sounds,
of events and expressions.

As director, you get to choose 
the pictures that will be preserved.
So, plan your life, choose carefully
the folks you let into your room.

Spend time with family and friends,
invest in those closest to you.
The shots your brain takes will remain,
when your years on the job are through.

Make God your friend, spend time with Him.
Get to know Him as best you can.
For the best shots, your camera takes
will be of your time spent with Him.

As you navigate the journey of life,
be kind to those you encounter.
Assist as many as you can
in as many ways as you can.

Take time to grieve, don’t just move on,
hoping to forget what was lost.
Grieving in place, will the joy increase,
when the good times of life roll by.

Then when the evening of life comes,
and you descry what matters most;
the stored memories that emerge
will gladden the end of your years.
