MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR BEING MY LIGHT
				
Thank You for Your being my light against sinfulness’ darkness
Making me see Your bright forgiveness
With your gracious goodness
To strengthen my soul of assurance-steadfastness.

Thank You for Your being my light against iniquities’ obscurity
Making me follow Your supreme authority
With your perfect sovereignty
To lead my steps from corruption-infirmity.

Thank You for Your being my light against transgressions’ destruction
Making me seek Your ready purification
With your available sanctification
To direct my perspective toward renewal-transformation.

Thank You for Your being my light against errors’ covering
Making me abide in Your holy staring
With your righteous nurturing
To anchor my standards upon Scripture-rearing.

Thank You for Your being my light against complaints’ envelopment
Making me cleave to Your sufficient bestowment
With your generous endowment
To meet my needs despite scarcity-impediment.

Thank You for Your being my light against deceit’s pain
Making me yearn for Your prudent reign
With your wise direction that’s plain
To teach my choices for spirituality-gain.

Thank You for Your being my light against fright’s flight
Making me delight in Your patient insight
With your powerful might
To radiate through my testimony midst truth-right.
