People, people, people, let’s talk about a “Block Party.”
Alright, first of all, I’m old school. Our block parties back in the day in the projects in New Orleans consisted of people in the project coming together in the courtyard, porches, or block, wherever the party was going down at. At times, they even blocked the streets, it didn’t matter. 
Everybody was invited to our Block Parties. They were filled with food, fun, dancing, buck jumping, laughter, good times and more. They definitely had to have a DJ, and in some cases, a second line band. They was lit, everybody was turnt. Our block parties was “off da chain.” Yeah… the good ole days, life before the infamous cell phones.
 
Part of it before Hurricane Katrina was the beginning of the small, held hand flip phones, but nothing like the technology today. Which brings me to this new generation of a “Block Party.” 

So, I’ve been observing and listening to people as to how they make use of the incredible “Block” feature on their phone. This feature is an on and off feature that allows you to stop receiving access from numbers you don’t want calling you and then back on when you want.
This is the new version of “Block Party.”

Now a days, if you want to be invited to today’s generation of a Block Party, just keep doing what you are doing. Keep on getting on that person’s nerves, keep lying, keep playing on they phone or doing the stupid ssh you’re doing.

Frustrate, aggravate, or irritate, they won’t hesitate.
They’ll block you on their phone, on their social media, they’ll block yo friend, they’ll block yo dog, they’ll block yo momma, they don’t care.
This generation Block for anything.

Make them mad - Block
Don’t do what you said you were going to do - Block
Don’t call them back - Block
Don’t text back - Block
Cheat - definitely Block
Like the opps pictures on social media - Block
Follow other sexy people - Block
Respond to DM’s - Block
Scammers and automated calls - automatic Block
Don’t come home, you ain’t blocked out, you locked out, lol.
