Though you may go in search of the
4 corners of the earth 

In order to try and make another care

All you are bound to eventually discover
at your journey's end

Is if they did not care at the beginning

In the end they probably still won't

And there is nothing you nor anyone
else can do

To make them change their minds

And if you do and choose to believe
you have

Then sadly more fool you

As all you have done in cold hard reality

As love is blind 

Is at best bought yourself more time

And only put off and made the inevitable 
outcome so far worse for none other
than yourself

Because unfortunately at the end of the day

If someone doesn't care

They simply don't and won't

Cruelest fact of all is that this sadly 
won't stop the heart from wanting what it
wants as nothing else or less will do

Unfortunately the complete opposite
applies in this case as it will only serve 
to make matter's far way more worse

Making you then and now only love
them way far more than you ever did
before

Due to the fact the one's we choose
to love the most are the one's we
can't have and got away 

As they simply do and choose not to
reciprocate our the same feelings back

Regretfully forgetfully sometimes as we
all do we may have done the very exact 
same thing to someone else  

But that doesn't provide us with any 
help or barely little comfort at all

As in regards to when it comes to caring
1st and foremost we put and care about
ourselves 1st

As does everybody else apart from
those who are willing to swear hand
on heart they don't and never would 

Who if you ask anybody else apart from
themselves if what they just said is in
fact true

They would probably not care to answer
that in particular question

With anything other than with a glare
of distain and rolling of their eyes 

Because they can no more feign surprise
or shock

As they can try though they may to
pretend that they in fact care
