Giving up is the one thing that i simply can't afford

My words are my weapons and my pen is the sword

I have a message for my warrior sisters and brothers

Imagine a world where we all helped one another

I'm determined to succeed and I am full of dedication

My survival consists of positivity and medication

I've conquered my depression, I have nothing left to prove

I'm intricate and so precise as I concoct each move

Positivity is powerful, hopeful, brilliant and excellent

It will spread throughout your body and your happiness will then be evident

I feel that it's important that we have hope inside our thoughts

I know that this can help you if you're feeling out of sorts

My friends you cannot quit just because of an obstacle

Develop a mindset where you feel anything is possible

My illness can't compete with me, I'm on a totally different level

When it comes to poetry, I believe my gift is special

I offer hope, strength, support, positivity and fight

Let me be the beacon who can guide you to the light

Stay calm and composed, there's no need to stress

No matter how fast or slow you go, progress is still progress

Stay hopeful and do not become disheartened

Practice makes perfect, your tools must be sharpened

When opportunity knocks then you must break down the door

Look how far you've come since you got up off the floor
