Yes, it is true that the Amazon telephone scam is back yet again! A few days ago Amazon scam artists pretending to be representing their company wanted to authorize a "$900.00" non-existent purchase that I never made in the first place! Just a few minutes ago they tried their $900.00 Amazon scam once again! Just like before, I just listened for the amount, didn't say anything and than silently hung up. First off I do not even have an Amazon account in the first place and neither does my best friend, Laurie. Yes, they are trying the exact same scam on her! Second, I don't even make $900.00 per month. Thus I'm not about to purchase anything from Amazon or anyone else for that much too costly amount. Many of you probably subscribe to a spam blocking service but instead of my spending any money on it--hanging up works just as well. Once I had a friend who told spammers "NO!" What did they do but turn her no into a yes and fraudulently tried to either make her pay for a non-existent purchase or a non-existence service. She had a terrible time trying to set things straight again. The first time the Amazon spammers called, I called my credit union and I plan on contacting them again by, notifying them the spam is still being tried yet again. One time I tried to argue with a so-called company that claimed I just purchased an expensive Apple Smart phone for much more money than I currently make a month. What happened? I got into a verbal telephone argument with an aggressive black female spammer. Eventually I started getting hysterical and kept on repeating "No, I didn't do it....No I didn't do it...I don't even make that much money per month!" NO It doesn't pay to argue with highly trained and motivated professional spammers in the art of intimidation and also guilty of fraudulent misrepresentation. They are well trained in trying to wear you down by getting to agree to their fraudulent telephone spams! What would have happened in my case if I said yes instead of no? My credit union's fraud department would have asked me if I agreed to their case of misrepresentation and fraud. I would have replied honestly yes just to get them off my back? Even though I didn't want to say yes in the first place! I would've created nothing but a lot of problems for myself! Praise the Lord it didn't not happen to me and he doesn't want it to also happen to any of you either! Miranda! Grace and peace! Roxanne Lea Dubarry Roxy Lea/October Country November 18, 2022
