Poem

The Moon becomes closer,
My cogitations remain jumbled
I escaped the town a while ago
The festering wounds did not heal
Nothing could usher me backward
The surviving solids stayed held tight
All my affections are still within me.

I cannot reckon the stain has gone
My mind was blind, but my heart knew
A load of despair hangs on my neck
Why did you believe this agenda would work?
All efforts to turn desire into love failed.

I am navigating the sea of nothingness,
Turning sweepingly, feet whirled
I bestowed the fluid into a frenzied whirl
Above, gentle waves touch the neck
They threatened me while I was still smiling
There were no signs of land in the vicinity
My toes are itching, and my feet are squirming
A strong will is our only chance for survival.
