MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR PUTTING ON ME YOUR ARMOUR

Thank You for putting on me Your armour of holy championship
By Your belt of truth, girding my stewardship
For biblically wise teaching workmanship
To produce dedicated discipleship.

Thank You for putting on me Your armour of heavenly success
By Your breastplate of righteousness, covering my sacrifices
For joyfully worshipful Christ-exalting praises
To pursue eternal causes.

Thank You for putting on me Your armour of willing obedience
By Your shoes of Gospel-preaching, pressing my diligence
For fruitfully commissioned soulwinning persistence
To overcome oppressive negligence.

Thank You for putting on me Your armour of everlasting security
By Your helmet of salvation, assuring my immortality
For meaningfully devoted life-building certainty
To uplift genuine spirituality.

Thank You for putting on me Your armour of triumphant steadfastness
By Your shield of faith, guarding my faithfulness
For virtuously shining deeds of righteousness
To quench fiery wickedness.

Thank You for putting on me Your armour of divine achievement
By Your sword of spirit, upholding my commitment
For joyously blessed faith-strengthening fulfillment
To show precious ministry-enhancement.

Thank You for putting on me Your armour of victorious might
By Your power of prayer, answering my plight
For fervently empowered supplication delight
To decide with prudent-insight.
