It’s quite quiet here
Living fearlessly, my dear
The darkness cannot make me scared
The light will unveil what’s not there…I’m prepared…
To let go of the key and search for your heart alone
To let live the feelings of giving up and walking into the unknown
I want to give in to His spiritual love above
Not this temptation that I loathe…and yet think of
I think of it every night and day
Pray away my dismay, pray away my dismay
You’re the key to my heart
Or else, I’d be torn apart
Or else, I’d depart…

I’m so sorry I let you down
If anything, I’ll paint you an upside down frown
I drown in shadows so shallow, I know, I know
This hallow feeling of distraught hangs low
