Threatening clouds above
Send in lightning of love
I rove through raindrops of fall
Overall, I’m feeling my way through trees so tall
The air is dissipating the despair in my heart
All along, you tried to fix my heart as it broke apart
Sorry I let you down and you frowned the moment I moved on
Make me done before dawn, after dusk after we welcome the sun

Dreaming of you oh so wildly, baby
Musing about the old days in the gracious sunshine
Dancing in the wind oh so beautifully
I’ll make it out alive, darling dear — I’ll be just fine

Heal away our wounds of the past

The scars that are oh so vast in our lives
