Poem
Two hearts kissed, breathless With joy, smiles, light… Raining hope into the silence, Whispering life through the soul Who knows they will never grow old Because their hearts are bound By the mystery of their history Together, abiding in the dream, The freedom, the feeling… Two minds reach out, laughing As the waves of grace sigh, Singing imagination, wonder Into the spirit of their senses, Awakening wispy intimacy – quiet Warmth, abiding in the friendship The glory of two who know… Life awaits their connection, a bond Shining, sparkling, enlightening Thrilling each thought with the truth In hues of inspiration, a liaison Brought to life by the belief, the mood Dependent on grace and erasing All doubt, all worry, all the clouds Embracing the gentling of a sky Rising through the starriest smiles Two hopes ignite, fires alive With passion, desire The burning of two who know Deepest emotions, the goal To reach beyond the moment Into the horizon of joy The wonder of two dreams Faith that frees and sees All the silent poses Approaching the truth With colorful hues Shades of creativity, certainty Abiding in the conviction Life’s rising tale of sensitivity Stirring flames of grace Telling two hearts, amazed By the combination of light Assurance and loyalty Insight and wisdom so alive Two – two who know Love that grows and grows Freeing the very soul To listen to the elation, the thrill Combined in lives who still Know that love is more than a feeling Love is real – and still gives More than it takes, more joy, more faith More of everything that makes Life feel like a place blessed By the One who makes a way Even when it seems there is no way Two hearts, two souls, two loves Combined to create ONE ambition… The goal is a life who has lived, a love God has given to be given – so GIVE!
