Poem
She woke up each day Forcing a smile, forcing to get up and go on Forcing herself to get ready like nothing was truly broken inside. But truly no matter how much make up No matter how much tears she wanted to cry No matter how much she truly just hoped she could die. She put on the smile to make it threw each painful day Never truly saying what she felt and wanted to say. She ed so much up, Did so many things wrong. Making mistake after mistake up after up She never paid attention to who she hurt, Never truly knowing she was doing so many wrong She was so lost in depressions reality wasn't anything to her at all She had already taken a damaging fall. She had few she depended on. Few she could trust and have faith But even when she tried to seek help they avoided her, Brushed her off or played her depression a petty thing. They said they were there, they were listening but that's truly not what they would bring. Her problems killing her inside each day, where nothing to the ones she loved around her.. they didn't even seem to completely see what her words and actions actually truly would mean. She could scream for a helping hand, a push to do right But she was fighting rejection, fighting for the ever after light. When someone so depressed So dark and so cold, . Loses all reason, all hope to ever grow old. When someone so depressed just can't take much more They finally reach for that final chapter door. Depression has taken over, no more faking the smiles, the happiness no more. After so many cry outs So much painful doubt. Ending the pain inside that's out of control, Is what she finally realizes is what she was looking for. She has no purpose here, Surrounded by people who show no care, no love, no source of help, no motivation for this poor poor depressed girl. She finally can't take it, sees nothing but dark inside and out. She finally does what everyone says is "take the easy way out" She knows she won't be missed, if at all, not for to long. Now everyone doesnt have to listen to her pour me pitty song. Something she couldn't help, couldn't control, couldnt find answers for. Pushed her beyond the purpose of living and not being able to take anymore. Depression wins yet again In so many young life's It's like a scar that keeps scarring from a dull dull knife. Now that she's gone some are hurt and surprised. Trying to figure out how they were so damn blind. They didn't know anything was wrong with her to begin Nothing that serious to make her do the painful giving up sin Now each caring person starts to wonder why? Starts to question themselves and about their our lives. Thinking If I only did this, or only said that, if I listened more Showed I cared more, maybe she wouldn't have died. . But as the quilt starts to kick in, to those who surrounded Her each day. Some say she always wanted it this way Attention was all she ever looked for. If she didn't get what she wanted then it was pour her, Or how this person did her wrong, now it's she went this far to just make people feel sorry for her She was weak, she did what was best Now we all can move forward, let the dumb dead rest. The cold truth and question truly is, Was this girl save able should we have done so much more Take this lesson and grow so it doesn't happen anymore. Or was this just a broken call out from an attention whore. That finally closed that final chapter door. Finally making her true depression she covered no more.
