MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR CHEERING ME UP

Thank You for cheering me up in my pain
Caused by sinfulness-sting of transgression-stain…
You are my great Healer, granting wholeness’ gain
Truly, Your salvation-ointment is never in vain.

Thank You for cheering me up in my shame
Caused by pride’s embarrassment and blame…
You are my merciful Encourager with pursuit of forgiveness’ aim
Truly, Your humility exemplifying meekness is always aflame.

Thank You for cheering me up in my ache
Caused by hypocrisy’s pretension, deceitfully fake…
You are my merciful Encourager giving me courageous shake
Truly, Your rebuking chastisement is ready to wake.

Thank You for cheering me up in my shock
Caused by worldliness’ smiting knock…
You are my wise Designer against confusion’s lock
Truly, Your quality standard is a perfection-rock.

Thank You for cheering me up in my woes
Caused by persecutions from attacking foes…
You are my mighty Defender, shielding me from perilous blows
Truly, Your protecting safeguard is a fortress as to You I draw close.

Thank You for cheering me up in my pouts
Caused by discontentment, worries and doubts…
You are my ready Provider with bountifulness’ shouts
Truly, Your abundant satisfaction is away from crises’ routes.

Thank You for cheering me up in my guilt
Caused by trespasses’ filthy silt…
You are my gracious Transformer with goodness-built
Truly, Your kindness-charge is free from evil’s tilt or wilt.
