MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME GOOD THINGS

Thank You for giving me good things along Your graciousness
While providing for my needfulness
With Your ready kindness
Which humbles me from pride and selfishness.

Thank You for giving me good things along Your salvation
While securing my adoption
With Your assured redemption
Which seals me from hell and condemnation.

Thank You for giving me good things along Your bounty
While filling up my scarcity
With Your presence enriching my spirituality
Which guards me from vain emptiness and poverty.

Thank You for giving me good things along Your contentment
While healing my soul-ailment
With Your satisfying fulfillment
Which revives me from weariness and discouragement.

Thank You for giving me good things along Your deliverance
While strengthening my faith-perseverance
With Your mighty power’s assurance
Which upholds me from frustration and failure-endurance.

Thank You for giving me good things along Your wisdom
While subduing my ignorance-boredom
With Your enlightening truth-freedom
Which leads me from humanistic and worldly kingdom.

Thank You for giving me good things along Your mercy
While disciplining my complacency
With Your compassionate clemency
Which protects me from guilt and sin-persistency.
