Poem

Matter of frankness,
reality is reality and unreal is just conspiratorial nonsense.
At least to me.
I say this because I believe it, otherwise I wouldn't say it.
Of course I'm not a poet, or even a good writer.
I am just writing how I feel.
Stuff does happen that is bad, and stuff happens 
that is possibly kind of good. 
Good things that happen don't always have this hallow effect,
they just happen, possibly with good intentions behind the effort,
sometimes just a passing happenstance.
You are lucky if you are surrounded by good people, but the definition
of good people is not taught in any school.
Love, all people who are good love.
Love beyond ones self.
Sure, there is the ID, but there is also this
other side of the coin, this empathy ID one
appreciates when at anytime they themselves 
have been unselfishly loved.
And yes, it makes them wonder why.
When you don't need to be good enough,
When you can just be you,
I mean, at least for a while.
Yes, for a while. 
How long, doesn't matter, 
but you keep plugging away
because it's the best thing you ever
had.
I am not old but I have interviewed old people
who are gone, and that is what I think
they mean.
I could be wrong, I doubt it though.
