it should have been me at Calvary witnessed my very being frozen in time I stand here believing Jesus is the only one but truth be told I'm just one of me like God's children and I'm spoiled I have to learn to play with my other sisters and brothers but I resist and I fail throwing temper tantrums I'm a liar a stealer a fornicator filthy dirty from the inside of tomorrow but my bones to the outside of my skin spiritual healing unrepentant dirty bent and just to mention unclean filthy unholy I have no right for his glory just a sinner just a sinner I'm unworthy am I to be forgiven I feel the nails of Jesus hands and the stab wound in my side did he himself have tears running down from his eyes I'm a lost I'm lost I'm found find like my savior carrying the cross it should have been be lost I'm unbound freedom Liberty soon found abides in me it should have been me hanging at Calvary it should have been Me hanging On Calvary for it was my sins that I did that I've done and yet God chose His son to carry my burden yes my Jesus died for me yes and so my Jesus died for me to set me free or dirty vessel broken and So unworthy but his amazing Grace shown all over my face and he granted me like forgiveness it should have been me it should have been me it should have been me it should have been me on Calvary 8/8/22 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr © 2022
