We are the animal inside my soul, my soul
We are the animal, so crack open my skull
We are going insane inside our wearisome brain
When will we be sane again? Is it all in vain?

We’re running around in the circle of death
We’re scorching our souls aflame once more, once more
We’re running around in circles, so take a breath
We’re neglecting our souls, so let the bodies hit the floor 

My brain is going insane on another lane of thought
All I have is the strength that I got and it’s not a lot
We’re running around in the circle of death, the circle of death
We’re in this vicious cycle of endlessness, losing our breath
In the circle of death…the circle of death…
We ran out of breath…there’s no way to breathe
In the circle of death…the circle of death…
We can’t handle the stress…we can’t go underneath

We are the animal inside my soul, my soul
We are the animal that is much like a bull
We are getting mad as a whole, so have some desire and watch the show
We are badass like the creatures, wandering ‘round the campfire below
