As told by The "Redoubtable Marmaduke" the fog bog jogging hog The odd bog dog Was known as such Because he lived on a log By a bog And everyone thought that was very odd Now; the odd bog dog who lived on a log By a bog Was very fond of spending time With his friend the very green frog And everyone agreed What a strange thing indeed To see the very green frog and the odd bog dog Sitting at night on the odd bog dogs log By a bog Hog who said Hog No its L O G To think of seeing a very green frog and an odd bog dog Sitting at night on a very bored hog Would be more than enough to make your eyes go pop But I am told that there was a hog Who loved to jog Round and round the edge of the bog The very same bog of the odd bog dog The very same friend of the very green frog Who used to spend their nights Sitting on the log of the odd bog dog By a bog But that’s another story A story of hogs that love to jog in the fog Round and round the edges of bogs And the only thing I can say of hogs Is this particular bog jogging hog Was called The Redoubtable Marmaduke And he was famous for hog jogging the bogs of the world Especially in the fog But that’s another story Now; one night it was when the very green frog Jumped from the log of the odd bog dog And landed in the bog with a very loud plop That made the odd bog dogs eyes go bob, bob, bob Until he thought they wouldn’t stop It’s a hop, hop hopping night cried the very green frog And hopped back onto the odd bog dogs log Then hopped off and on and off and on and off The odd bog dogs log By a bog And each time landing in the bog with a very loud plop That sent the odd bog dogs eyes going bob, bob, bob Till he thought they wouldn’t stop While the very green frog went laughing with a blurp, blurp, blurp That looks like fun thought the odd bog dog So he gathered himself up on his log by a bog And gave a mighty hop just like the very green frog And landed with a loud furry wet splashy plop That made the very green frog laugh out loud with a blurp, blurp, blurp Very green frogs and odd bog dogs hopping off of a log By a bog Said The Redoubtable Marmaduke the fog bog jogging hog He had to smile at their very loud plops And the very green frog going blurp. blurp, blurp As he sniffed the air waiting for fog A night for hops and plops for very green frogs and odd bog dogs But the bog jogging hog Sat patiently waiting for the fog He loved to jog round and round the edges of bogs Especially in the fog
