Poem
Cries of beast and man intertwine, mortals lamenting what has been done, this night is filled with sorrow, forever horrific scenes pressed into the mind. From this sorrow, can glory really take flight? in time to come it may do. Fight on in sorrow's grasp you red, you fight for tomorrow's light. The song of Alahsar, it is still heard, the song of hearts that ever beat true. This is reason enough to fight, hear the song from every beating heart, this is reason enough to battle on, fight for the heart that beats beside you. The battle shall surely grow into a storm, as lightning flashes from steel on steel, still many seem to be falling, Hell on Alahsar's mighty plain. Arrows still dropping death from the sky, now the archer's arms are weary, there is no protection from their sting, still, they cannot fire for much longer. The rain of death, would that it could win the day, the arrows now very close to the spearheads, Oh, rain of man, find your mark, whittle down this army of darkness. Ah, such pain, such agony, what is this my eyes behold, the child of the storm falls to the ground, swords and spears guard his fallen body. On his knees now, the arrow in his back, Utamol still ready to sing. Everything seems to stop, for that one instant, all hope is gone. Shall the tide be turned again, shall men break and run for home, the Tigress fighting off the foe, no beast shall touch her man, her sword flashing deadly flame. The death comes quick from her sword, anger and worry play war in her heart, In his pain, the Dark Man gets to his feet, the battle once more shall rumble on. Once more Utamol sips blood's wine, Lords and Ladies, pain be shed, now fight on, the son of the storm fights on, still sing in your hearts dead Alahsar's song. The mighty has fallen but now he is raised, power once more comes unto the red, "Walk In The Light." The cry raised to the Heavens. Chapter ..... 3 ..... Part ..... 3. On the right flank, the mounted knights now ready to charge, these knights attacked from the trees, from behind the enemy. They met the wolves and wolf riders, a mighty crash filled the air, The enemy did fall, the surprise would not last long. Things seemed to be at their worst now, all had to hold, brave the fight that went on, no sign of victory. Mounted archers now leace bows, they fight with sword, spear and axe, the struggle for life is great, they fight to join the knights. To Be Continued...........
