Communion with God gifts you light
May it in your hearts shine ever bright
And God light the path to stay your course.
This is our prayer.

This is our prayer: you will be one
Neath moon and stars and the noonday sun.
Your love will follow the Good Lord’s course
No bitterness, anger, or remorse
But joy to bless the race your lives run.

We witnesses felt in days long ago,
Gifted with many decades you know.
May your eyes sparkle despite age’s force
This is our prayer.

May your unity blaze as the sun
Until the Good Lord says you are done.
Lift each other to the Lord on high
Hold to your faith knowing God is nigh.
We shall sleep well as you have the Son.
