His hand took mine
The feeling was like light
Pouring over my heart
Breathing a beat so alive
Starlight couldn’t compare
The joy was unrivaled
It felt like I’d been moved
By the powers of music
The powers of truth
The powers of absolute proof
That God still abides inside

His kiss touched my lips
My hopes, my dreams, my prayers
With a gentleness, a kindness
That brought joy to my mind
Inspiration to my spirit
A stirring of appreciation
That felt like I’d been blessed
By heaven’s brilliance
The wonder of a feeling
Beyond words, beyond vision
A feeling so powerful it sent me
Into a place of pure contentment

His love rained grace through me
Moved my soul, my hope
With impressions of exhilaration 
Promise of satisfaction
An elation that can’t be compared
It is alive, living on wonder
Surprising even the wisdom, the strength
That abides in the spirit who believes
Only God can stir such freedom
To feel, to believe, to dream
Love like this is like a river of peace
Flowing with intimacy and affection
Feelings so alive they radiate blessings

In love with him, his soul… awakens
