June 1 Scripture Meditations Based on Psalms 120-124

Key Verse – Psalm 122:6 Pray for peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.   

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR PROSPERING ME

Thank You for prospering me against distress
While delivering my soul from sin-curses
To let me dwell in Your peace-embraces
As I come to Your help’s forces.

Thank You for prospering me against sufferings
While keeping my foot from transgression-soarings
To bring me in Your grace-nurturings
As I walk toward Your mercy’s rearings.

Thank You for prospering me against peacefulness
While quieting my heart from restlessness
To calm me down with Your gentleness
As I abide in Your faithfulness.

Thank You for prospering me against scornings
While guarding my testimony from deceit-cunnings
To uphold me by Your sanctification-cleanings
As I pursue through Your winnings.

Thank You for prospering me against arrogance
While humbling my mind from self-significance
To abase me by Your deliverance
As I bow down to Your mighty performance.

Thank You for prospering me against falsity
While teaching my character from grievous iniquity
To mold me through Your instruction-certainty
As I stay in Your wisdom’s authority.
