Poem
Fun fact ...got a birth mark the size and color of a watermelon seed on the right lower cheek of my butt. Hence my theme song she's got a freckle on her butt but she's purdy. Now how does this play into our story? My mother struck me four times in my life. The first was when I was 5.I was out in the yard .My sister three in the house shadowing our mom as she had just been displaced with my mom's last baby.So as had no distraction and nothing to do was singing song green fields,Once there was green fields kissed by the sun, once there were valley's where rivers used to run,you know it?Anyway I started walking into a field of what I recall was sorghum cane.I walked in those green fields singing about green fields lost in A world of my own.Meanwhile back at the ranch my mom with a 6 month old baby, and a three year old, with no phone in the middle of nowhere found me gone.Brothers and sisters able to help at school. I was in the field till the image of the setting sun reflected in standing water appeared to me like a firey red dragon.I bolted thankfully in the right direction not stopping till I came into view of my hysterical mother. She snatched me up Saying as she stripped my rear for all to see"I thought you got over into that river", before she smoked them hams. The second time was when we lived in the haunted house. That was when I used Judo on my brother Dallen.which we will discuss in the town chronicles at a later date. Now mind you our story is called work in progress. Why?,you may wonder. Cause it ain't all sunshine and roses kids.A little background. My father, I would bet the farm ,had aspergers,a high functioning form of autism.Zippidy do dah No social skills, yet a mechanical whiz.High strung nicknamed static.Waite there's more.Suffering from high anxiety, ptsd, and marriage to a woman who could not for the life of herself stop with a glass of wine at dinner.Seriously the daughter of a Tennessee bootlegger who started sampling the mash early.Hey I got a great idea let's add nine kids to round out this currier and Ives milieu. Not to mention poverty with a capital P. Brace yourselves kids cause next time we are going to touch upon the nitty of the gritty. Some introductions Betty Deloris....Lou Lou aka Lorsie the oldest.Charles Woodrow....Buddy aka Luke the drifter Robert Earl....John I do not know how he got pyro duty but I do remember hearing "Ah John, get up and build that fire"He also was the rabbit trapper and goose wrangler .Later Gator.
