Poem

I am lost and I really never found myself.
I was existing  in my life,
With a monster.
I was having nightmares at night and,
Having to relive them every day.
I was under her control, a prisoner,
In my house by this monster whom I call mom.
The one person we are all told to trust,
But not when they chase you with a knife.
I knew she would kill me if I stayed,
So I left and since that day I,
Have no longer called her mom.
Joining the Army meant,
Freedom and independence away from her.
This means everyone in my life,
Finally had my back.
I trusted them and,
They trusted me,
Something I never had with her.
Then the phone call everyone dreads,
And yet no one wants to hear.
 I laid my father to rest, 
Realizing  this monster and my sister killed him.
Monsters are monsters they can’t hide,
But there has to be consequences.
Consequences are the end result for the,
Ramifications of the horror,
That they bestowed on our family.
I have made my peace.
There is nothing I could have done to stop this.
As I look and see the TV a monster and,
My sister chained like animals going into the Court House.
Finally, consequences.
My truth will indeed set me free,
As the chains fall from my wrists,
I hear the jury say ‘GUILTY’.

Liver Failure

The TV show ‘Evil Lives here’  on ID channel
Episode called ‘ Let her rot’
When they did the autopsy they had evidence that the father was poisoned .

In my opinion I feel  the Liver failure was due to the many beatings by his mother.
