Stanley Meyer was, undoubtedly, an engineering genius
whether or not he succeeded in developing an auto engine
that could propel a vehicle using only the power of water.
And, still, he may well have done so, according to reports.
It appears that his downfall was a “paranoid attitude” which
prevented him from allowing a full, scientific investigation
of his invention, which was housed in a modified dune buggy.
Those who were present at his death claimed he was poisoned,
but a coroner could find no known poison in his system, so
his death was confirmed as the result of “natural causes” or,
more specifically, an aneurism.

And that’s the story …

It seems to me that were it possible to design and build
such a contraption capable of propelling such a vehicle
it would have been accomplished by numbers of engineers,
especially since the basics of the system are well-known
among automotive engineers, and many others ….
That the development has not been allowed by oil companies
and automobile manufacturers ranks up there with the belief
that a cure for all cancers has been developed but is not being 
accepted or allowed by the major pharmaceutical companies.

And that’s the end of the story ….
