Acknowledging the essence of near-death experience realistically through reading about its characteristics mindfully as regards presented historical reports numerously and research of its circumstances done clinically--- I’m made aware of its truth that’s perceived individually. Thus, my heart prays for such encounter blissfully especially that I took care of my Dad graciously in his ICU confinement circumspectly… I saw him on his death bed readying himself serenely to face the Creator welcoming Him home vibrantly. Right now, I’ll suffice myself with facts scripturally Declaring some Bible characters enthusiastically with their last words recorded meaningfully. “For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” (2Timothy 4:6-8) Virtually witnessing Apostle Paul utter his last words confidently my spirit cannot deny how blessed am I indeed divinely since his near-death-experience so triumphantly showcased God’s miracles at work wondrously exuding hope, light, peace, truth radiantly marked by grace exposed abundantly along mercy poured unconditionally for service exemplified earnestly. “But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God… …And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.” (Acts 7:55-56, 59-60) Vicariously beholding Stephen seeing the Almighty majestically while in his near-death-experience documented clearly that anticipated for the Lord’s assurance gloriously my soul praises and thanks the Saviour jubilantly for functional impact of surrender sublimely reaching-out humbly to others willingly along sincere martyrdom faithfully in yielding all to Christ totally. “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” (John 19:30) Victoriously pondering Jesus Christ’s last statement assertively while on Calvary’s cross for mankind’s redemption verily I exalt the Author and Finisher of my faith* gladly as He expressed His compassion bountifully sealing it with His death sacrificially toward resurrection definitely so that life in HIM surely will prevail eternally. *Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Dramatic Monologue in Monorhyme May 3, 2022 1st place, "Near Death Experience" Poetry Writing Premiere Contest Sponsored by Chantelle Anne Cooke; judged on 5/7/2022.
