Poem
I lay on a bed and I hear voices beside me, But alas, For I cannot see the beings, From whom my name is spoken. My eyes are closed and the darkness surrounds me but not the same, For my darkness is not black, More it is the colour of darkness that you see, When you close your eyes. The black is present but there within a mix of colour that resembles images of the mind, It matters not for darkness is not what I hear. I listen to the words of an argument that seems to revolve around me but of no importance to me, For there are no words being spoken, The silence is aerie as the argument carries on into the depths of an abyss, Their words care not for me but what I should mean to them….. Them who are speaking these words of silence, those who battle over my life, Who are they? I will find out.. I will find out NOW. I struggle but succeed to pry open my eyes and I see, They whom will decide my fate, As I gaze upon their being I feel no fear from neither of them, only an over whelming Feeling of pure nothingness, No Good nor Evil, No right nor wrong, Just nothing, I speak to one but they are the same, I ask my question “Who are you that argue in the Silence of my mind?” and they reply “WE ARE AND THAT IS ALL WE WILL EVER BE”, I think for a moment then I ask “If you are and all you will ever be, What are you?” their answer is “ONE IS THE BEGINNING AND ONE IS THE END BUT WE ARE ONE”, So as I ponder on their reply, I ask my final question “If you are and all you will ever be, If one is the beginning and one is the end but you are one, Then why do you choose the form of two?” To which they simply folded there arms and said “WE DO NOT CHOOSE ANY SUCH FORMS BUT RATHER WE SHOW HOW YOU WOULD PERCEIVE US BEST”, I sit confused then they turn to me and say. Their question startles me but I give my answer with no hesitation , Then they are gone, I stand in the darkness and mutter “Let there be light” I flick the switch on the wall and in a flash, FROM THE DARKNESS COMES LIGHT. A question for you who read about my life… Given the choice between the path of ultimate Good and ultimate Evil, Which would you choose? I gave my answer, Can you really give yours?
