MY LIFE JOURNEY Let me tell you a story …… I could have not imagined that my life journey would take me to see, wander around and enjoy few of the world’s famous gardens. Yes, in Europe, Canada and Western Asia. Let’s start with the most beautiful Spring Garden in the world, Keukenhof Tulip Gardens in Lesse in Netherlands, southwest of Amsterdam. One of the world’s largest gardens and also known as the Garden of Europe that features seven million flower bulbs planted each year with gardens and pavilions showing fantastic, magnificent collection of tulips and other flowers like daffodils, orchids, lilies, hyacinths, carnations, irises, roses and so on. The Butchart Gardens in Brentwood Bay, British Columbia, Canada displaying a group of floral gardens. It is an oasis with lush greens and colorful blooms. It is open year-round with nine hundred varieties of plants, where each season brings its different flowers, always in bloom in rainbow of colors, and considered as a National Historic Site of Canada and known as an impressive world-renowned attraction beaming with five gardens, fountains, sculptures and streams. There is The Miracle Garden in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in Western Asia known as the world’s largest natural flower garden featuring one hundred fifty million flowers in full bloom and known as the most picturesque, sweet-scented destination with modern landscaping, including the largest floral sculpture of an airbus, floral sculptures of Disney characters, like Micky Mouse and very colorful heart-shaped arches. It is awarded by the Guinness World Records for having the largest vertical garden with its floral sculptures. It is called The Miracle Garden because it was built on a desert in Western Asia, part of the Middle East. Here in America, I wandered in Skagit Valley Tulip fields in Mount Vernon, Washington, where rows of colorful tulips are on display, usually every April. I was so fortunate to visit my aunt in Seattle in April. I also enjoyed International Rose Test Garden in Washington Park in Portland, Oregon for its more than ten thousand individual rose bushes, representing over six hundred ten rose varieties, so delightful to see. In my life journey, I always focus on my blessings and the opportunities given to me, such as wandering through these gardens felt like being in paradise, which could be a place or a state of mind of bliss and delight. 4/17/22 Form N - Narrative - New Poems Poetry Constance La France Theme: #1 - Journey Used: PS Grammar Check
