*WHEN I DIED LAST NIGHT* I never had it that smooth That I had to get up bed so cool Seem like my power-packed so full Gazing in the sky so blue The doors never again squeaked And the gates opened so quickly Seem it is s great day differently With no reason to make me look back Didn't even feel like I left anything behind Crave to head straight into a fresh day Feeling like nothing I lack Nothing Seem to be alike Shocked to see colours splitted in just black and white The many colours were mere illusions Created to twist the minds of the living Words spoken are either facts or false Actions I notice are either wrong or right Answers are either yes or no The roads are either right or left Leading behind an eternal gate of alloys The start of a no-end sojourn Where my spirit stand to interrogate my soul My judgement is like wave-bathed beach I was probed in no time Can't tell how long it last Not in a land where the night goes on break And the sun a gatekeeper The celestial being asked for my last wish And to tell me I died last night So the last struggle was my last breath For all the stories I never told For all the lies I ever told For all the truth I never spoke For all the hands I failed to hold For all the time I missed the road For all the hearts I ever broke For all the feelings untold For the good in me I never showed For all the stones I branded gold Believe me,... I'm so sorry For the loving father I never be For the caring husband I failed to be A better lover I promised to be For the son I never lived to be For the unbroken I broke For the broken I rebroke The vulnerable I lead astray For the joy I unplugged For the tears I held back when I try to be hard And for the tears I make you all shed Believe me, ... I'm so sorry Mama cry no more Your eyes are swollen already Father's heart is bleeding I can see him hold his ribs ripping out in pairs Tell my siblings I love them But I took the early exit door Thought I'd hug you one more time To my ever loving friends I'm shocked it ended this early To the ones we share no bond I thought we would have a time to mend But the axeman caught me unawares Believe me,.... I'm so sorry Live for me the life I failed to live Pay for me the debt I owe Be the father to the one I rejected An uncle to the one I was denied Finish my struggle and win my fight I was my hope I live to fight another day That was before I knew I died last night CONCEPTUAL FM
