When you know what I know, you don’t change a thing.
The meadows are watered by the melting of snow.
The sun also rises, another day brings.
You’ll never know good, if you haven’t had woe.

With feasting comes fasting; no fast without slow.
Butterflies build prisons before they take wing.
You first must have ducks to put them in a row.
When you know what I know, you don’t change a thing.

A sturdy rope’s braided from many small strings;
You won’t have a darned sock if you never sew.
Sometimes all it takes is a stone and a sling.
The meadows are watered by the melting of snow.

Your grass might be greener if it’s time to mow.
When you find a keeper, you won’t want a fling.
Sometimes it’s okay to miss the big show.
The sun also rises, another day brings.

It’s better to let go than bitterly cling;
It often takes longer when you soften the blow.
If you’ve never cried, then you’ll likely not sing;
You’ll never know good, if you haven’t had woe.

You’re free to walk barefoot; you may stub your toe.
If there was no honey, the bees wouldn’t sting.
Mountaintop highs lead to valleys below.
