First off Biblical scholars have compared to Gomer to: Being part of the nation of Tomagrath or modern day turkey! Pastor John Hagee, of Cornerstone Church as compared Gomer to the modern day nation of Germany. And in the past, I have always referred Gomer to Germany.
But Gomer has also been compared to: Germany plus Eastern Europe and/or Europe itself!

First off Bibical scholars have compared Tarish to: the modern nation of Spain. Others, such as myself, have compared Tarish to the modern island nation of England. Some scholars have compared: all of the young lions to being the young and powerful emerging nations.
While others compare the young lions to the offshoot  of England, such as myself: Consisting of the nations of:  The United States of America, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

In modern times those nations and/or regions consist of: The United Kingdom, The United States of America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.  Are the ones consisting of the five eyes. All because they keep track of whatever is happening in fellow member nations! And also whatsoever is occurring in the world around them. Basically as it personally affects them, but also how it effects the whole world as well!

Whatever the correct nation and/or region the word Gomer refers to:  it becomes part of the Russian invading army mentioned in the Old Testament Book of Ezekiel chapter thirty-eight! And most certainly becomes part of the Gog and the Magog War, also mentioned in the book of Ezekiel chapters thirty-eight and thirty-nine.

Whatever nation Tarish refers to: it merely becomes a by-standing nation or close observer of the Gog and Magog War with out becoming an active participator! However it most likely does become involved in both WW 111 and the Battle of Armageddon!

All of the nations of the world will be involved in first fighting against one another. In their bitter battles over the City of Jerusalem! Two thirds of the city shall be destroyed but one-third of the believing rem-anent shall be saved!

Once those nations behold Jesus Christ, riding on a white horse accompanied by His white linen armies in heaven, plus all of His mighty angels.  They will cease attacking each other and attack the heavenly invading army instead! He shall destroy them by His Word and a two-edged sword proceeding out of His mighty mouth!

He shall cast both the Antichrist and the False prophet alive into the Lake of Fire!  Come quickly Lord Jesus!
