What is partly wrong with a Christian nation becoming a post Christian nation and an anti-God nation? The Spirit of Esau lives on in our anti-God political leaders, not only governing over the USA. but throughout other nations as well. For example: our good neighbor to our north, the nation of Canada! Is being governed by leaders filled with the Spirit of Esau.

Because he was hungry, he sold his birth right to his younger twin brother, Jacob. All for a single bowl of porridge. Because he was not able to kill any animal to satisfy his hunger.And thus Esau despised his birthright!

Probably because of it: his mother Rebecca, devised a plot for her favorite son. Jacob to receive Esau's first born blessings! She had him disguise himself and present himself to his blind father, Issac! Issac responded that his son smelled like Esau but sounded like his son Jacob! Jacob managed to convince his father that he was Esau! Thus he received his older brother's birth right plus his blessing!  When Rebecca discovers Esau' plot to kill Jacob,she sends him to her uncle Laban.  He married both Leah and her younger sister Rachael! It was Rachael, whom he loved and not Leah! From the two of them plus his concubines came the original twelve tribes of Israel. 

When Esau discovered that he had once again been tricked by his younger brother, Jacob! He became so very angry that he threatened to kill his brother just as soon as their father, Issac was dead! The brothers reconciled twice: At the death of their father Issac and after Jacob (Israel) came back after serving his uncle Laban for twenty years! 

Later on God would state Jacob He loved but Esau he had hated. Esau was a God-less man, who caused his descendants! To hate, kill and to destroy all of the children of Israel! 

And that is why Esau's anti-God spirit lives on in our politicians! Who are enacting: anti-Christian and anti-Israel legislation! Without the approval of the people they falsely claim to represent. At the battle of Armageddon, all of the nations of the world will be, gathered against God's holy anointed people, the nation of Israel! They are His elect and the apple of His eye! Make a special note: Only the unbelievers of all of those nations will attack the City of Jerusalem! 

All of the church aged Saints of God plus the tribulation saints will not be part of those invading armies! We will be part of God's heavenly armies! Praise Him!
