I look up toward the azure sky
Watch the flight of birds flying high
Soothing my dreams with light
Pouring over the stardust silence
Of a warm and tender moment

I smile at the whispers of life
Coloring my hopes in soft promises
Gentle tears raining down
Singing of beauty, laughter, insight
Into the spirit who listens
To the wonder of those who know
He is with us, fulfilling us
With His assurance, His comfort
His everlasting promise
Of a love that is alive, a fire
Burning through the heart who desires
A love that thrives on prayer
Survives because of the praise
That fills life with blessings
Thanks to the God of heaven

I look toward the amber dawn
Awakening on the softest thought
Weathering the darkest storm
Glowing on the heart who knows
His love is a forever warmth
The kindness of a bliss so hopeful
It dreams with peace eternal
Grace that brings such certainty
Of light that survives all worry
Comes alive on the serenity of glory
Who knows that love is much more
Than the whisper of a yearning
The gentleness that sooths away
Pain, anxiety and disgrace, the shame
Felt by the soul who knows that love
Is beckoning to the heart who shows
That its joy comes from the hope
Of a love that forever grows
Like the garden who is nurtured
By rain falling on its surface

When God rains down His joy
There is hope beyond any other
Hope of the light that will cover
Hearts in goodness, glory, grace
A feeling of unending faith
Thriving on the soul who believes
Jesus is alive and He is everything!
