Tender light falls soft against my skin Reflecting the inspiration Of a heart who knows of Christ’s gentle gift Sincerity, serenity and sensations Of silent reveries, grace so fulfilling His healing is a comfort with its uplifting Hope lingering on the silence Like a smile twinkling in the eyes Precious as stardust wonder pouring From a sky ablaze with sparkling insight Into the music of His wonderful mystery His poetry sings, breathlessly, Restoring the sound of mercy and prayer Spoken by the soul who knows Him As master, creator, king of the whole world The maker of the stars and the moon The author of each sun and each shower The wonder of a heart and a hope His design is like the secret of a flower Who drifts in all its vibrant glory Through the sunlight and the rainfall Hovering beneath clinging leaves Petals so sweet and soft, like their praise Of a Jesus who speaks into them Beauty, breathtaking beauty and peace He is alive in the silence and in the voice Of those who listen to His word With assurance that He has been heard By curious minds and inquisitive sentiments Who fade into the sigh The sound of truth being colored by faith Belief growing louder on the heart Who knows that He is alive His love paints the stars in the skies And reminds me why I’m alive To praise Him with my heart and my soul With every thought that I suppose Each reflection of His love Grows more assured that He is the One Who gives my heart its hope My soul its warmth and my spirit Its abiding feelings of absolute assurance The Holy Spirit has come down To pour out its joy through my thoughts Pierce my dreams with its marvels Make me see that His very presence Is a gift that my heart will forever treasure Lifting my voice to be heard By the mountains And the moon and the stars I praise my Jesus with my heart And my hope and my prayer For a love that lives eternally Possessing me with its pure serenity The unfolding of a melody Brought to life by His wisdom His light and love and gift of escape From the darkness that doesn’t hesitate To thrust its elusive odium Through the spirit who needs only believe Jesus is the One who will bring Absolute assurance, real peace, belief So that we are saved from the thief Who comes to destroy all our dreams Just believe and be saved from the darkness Which never lifts its ruin from your faith Just believe and don’t be deceived Jesus is the only way to find peace Jesus is the only way to know grace That assures your heart you’ve been saved!
