She breathes joy into poetry Lighting the way for you and me Her words color hearts in gentleness Whispering peace through the spirit Reminding us all that we have One Who is willing to strengthen and calm Reassure our hearts, souls and minds That life just begins when this one Life on earth ends – our other life begins And we can experience the true wonder Of being escorted to our beloved up yonder Where we will live forever – in love Without ever thinking of worry or sadness Only filling our thoughts with glory and gladness She caresses the very soul – with love Brought to life on the empty pages Where she pens truths of everlasting amazement Shining examples of a sweet grace who dances Through the will, on to the hills, forever Riding the trembling waves of inspiration Her imagination glows in resilient faith Filling the heart with such a delicious praise That only her light – drawing breathe from within, Can pour out on the dark, casting the shadows to the wind Sending our prayers a brief reminder that we can Have everything we’ve ever dreamed – every hope Every need or want can be fulfilled by the One Who came to this world to live and die, shine His light So that we can see the beauty of a lonely tree Where He gave His life for you and for me She is the writer who takes us to that cross Reminds us that we are lost – so desperately lost She fills us with hope because she knows the way To make it through this world without giving in or giving up But living – knowing there is a heaven above, waiting for us As He comforts our souls with His unending peace She tells us we have a second chance when we feel hopeless As if we can’t be worth the time it will take Him To clean up our hearts and silence all the darkness We hold inside where we yearn for Him to abide She is only the writer – the one who holds the pen Which casts hope into the darkest heart, the worst sin Reassuring us all that we can begin to live again With Him, there inside our spirits, we have all we need To silence all that doubt and find a way out of the past Into the freedom of a new dawn, a new light, a new hope The one that reveals the truth that God is love And His love has forgiven us for all that sin we owned And cast aside the shame we felt to be replaced With a feeling inside that is beyond amazing, wonderful It is like a touch from the One who strokes our lives With His kindness, His grace, His light and His ways He is there to guide us to that home we own on high Where only He can know just how much love we’ll shine Down love that is more beautiful than any feeling or dream!
