“In the Missing”



In the missing
you never left
I walk with you 
you still talk with me

We share our secrets
silently we escape 
worldly charades
we are touched, 

some say 

we are ghosts 
of our former selves
they see what we aren’t 
they walk through us

they don’t know 

us well, at all, 
they listen 
to their walls
to shut us out

we speak 
our mind
with closed 
mouths

Love is all 

we feel 
acute signs 
tips of our fingers
trace the delicate symmetry

of our silent smiles
kissing the lips 
of our wet sunrise,
lines are not drawn here

within our Eden 
as below so above 

we are gifting 
sensual pardons 
you rain o'er my skin
the mist of you, haunting 

"I am", 

you whisper
"all there is for you"
left in the beautiful 
time of madness

Autumn 
undresses slowly
there becomes 
the spring of you 

In my hidden winter garden
I listen to you,
you are the Summer unseen
I see you,

in my forest 

I sense you,
In the leaving
we exist,
in this moment

never ending
veils are thin here 

where once our love 
was treason 
you now speak
I am in love, so I listen

in the disappearing time
we remember, we met here
each the other We,
understood very clearly

the act of immersion,
in our simple poetry
we became 
each the other 

"We"
became
the gentle art 
of being 

strange gods
exotic creatures 

In everything
I see you, 
we move easily 
here

flowing towards
each other 

spilling through 
the opening
of each 
closing season

drowning 
delighted
in our dream
sun and moon 

reflecting 
invisible on tears 
glistening diamond pools
mirror images naked

mysterious 
rainforest fools 
in the time 
of our singular eclipsing

In the missing 
you never left me
I walk with you 
you feel me, I hear 

You watch 
I touch you 
in another world
we both listen 

to each other
metronomes
stroking 
heart beats

You never left me
in the missing 

the others,
just disappeared
