Poem
Hey Dragon! I’m glad I’ve reached you by phone Don’t you know that the FBI was looking for you for so long? Haven’t you heard of your name over the megaphone? They wanted the stolen gift to be returned from where it belong. Hey lady! What are you talking about? I don’t even know you- where in a hell did you get my number? I’m not interested to converse with you - you’re stout Go away! I’ve important business…grrrrrr! I’m not done with you yet. You need to explain… I’m so skeptical ‘til now about the stealing incident I’ve left our gift for a newly married couple, back of church’s altar It’s my co-giver who informed me almost two months later. (For she asked the newly married couple) So what’s the problem, are you trying to accuse me? I’ve not been in church, how can I be involved in stealing? Did you ask your friend whom you’ve entrusted, if she’d left the key? Or, didn’t you ask the angels hanging in the church’s ceiling? I couldn’t believe at first, but I got my friend’s confirmation She forgot to inform me…our present was completely gone She wanted to make an announcement, it was almost two months Too late for search, so I thought of you - those were kitchen wares. How dare you! The fire from my nose isn’t for cooking Leave me alone, I’ve important appointment- am not the culprit Don’t you know that tomorrow is Chinese New Year? Everybody is preparing, I need to learn my moves for dancing. If nobody will admit, what else can I do? I just want to know the truth. Stealing in church? Unbelievable!! I don’t care about my taxi fare and gift’s price What saddened me most is the stealing in a holy place. Thank you anyways for picking up the phone At least I’ve spoken to you to get your proud opinion Keep your nose cool… nothing’s bad in asking questions I’m always broken hearted to think about this. Bye Dragon. Feb 16,2022 9:59pm This was a true story. We thought that the gift was already enjoyed by the couples. The loss was learned only almost 2 months later. My best friend asked me to call the person we've entrusted and we're all wondering why we're not informed right away. Anyways, we couldn't do anythin. Too late to announce as suggested by the keeper. We felt so bad about it. The keeper's framed gift wasn't taken. a conversation with a fictional character Contest Judged: 3/2/2022 7:22:00 AM Sponsored by: Natasha L Scragg Place 3
