Breathless
For My King

I want us to be breathless with hope, and fire, and need.
I want us to be breathless with love, and passion, and speed.
I want us to want a moment where neither of us ever wants to let go,
And we stay locked together in hopes we can always be at home.
I want so much to tell you this without fear of pain within our souls.

I want us to be breathless with the freedom we find in our embrace.
I want for breathless to last ages and for time to stop its infinite beats.
I want the world to revolve around us as the sun and moon afar.
I want eternity to hold us in remembrance of loves sweet heat.

I desire a moment where “We” began and a future where “We” still are.
I hold inside me all these dreams where “Our” moments are as countless as the stars.
Where you are my cobalt sky and I am your north star.
Ever constant in our being, ever constant in our hearts.

I want all of these things with the Lord’s truest blessing,
To taste the sweet or the sour at your side,
and know that in each moment we are within his power.
I want us to remember the good times, and the bad,
So we can always hold on to being breathless until we truly are.
I desire our fulfillment and our love to withstand.
I want us to be breathless, just as we’ve ever been.
